Hapimag Resort: Lisbon’s Secret Gem

I stumbled upon Hapimag resort while desperately searching for unique hotels in Lisbon. I have this thing about only staying (when possible) in cute, quaint hotels or guest houses when I travel, and I knew Lisbon had to have a few. I came across Hapimag resort, a network of 60 resorts based out of Switzerland that I had never heard about. The Lisbon one is basically a furnished holiday apartment and that’s what made it so trendy. It wasn’t your typical boring business looking hotel. My room had a lot of personality and furniture I would use in my own apartment. They don’t have a restaurant, but rather a pantry stocked with ingredients to make your own meals in the comfort of  (read: pjs) your home away from home. They do offer a culinary welcome lunch and cocktail for a fee if guests are interested. Lisbon’s Hapimag resort is located parallel to the most popular street in Lisbon, Avenida de Liberdade. So, you can conclude that Hapimag is located in one of the best areas of Lisbon, walking distance to literally everything. Saying that the team at Hapimag were kind and generous is an understatement. I was welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine, fruits, tea and Pastel de Nata (Portugal’s most famout dessert). Hapimag also offers excursions of the week which I think is a really fun way to see the city. I was only able to stay one night at this warm and hospitable resort, but I look forward to returning on my next Lisboa trip. Thank you Hapimag fam!
